Terms of Service
Last updated: May 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Pora Door website and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. This document is not legal advice.
1. Who we are
The Services are provided by Pora Door (“Pora Door,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a U.S.-based retailer of storm doors and related products. We may refer to the brand as “PoraDoor” in marketing materials. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state of residence) to create an account or make a purchase. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Products, descriptions, and availability
We strive to display storm doors, colors, sizes, hardware, and options accurately, including curated lines from reputable manufacturers (such as Larson and Andersen, where listed on the site). Product images are illustrative; finishes and glass may vary slightly by batch and lighting.
We may limit quantities, refuse or cancel orders (including after confirmation) when we believe an order is erroneous, fraudulent, or violates these Terms, or when inventory or supplier constraints make fulfillment impracticable. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund amounts charged for the canceled portion in accordance with our policies and applicable law.
4. Pricing, taxes, and fees
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Sales tax, use tax, recycling fees, or other government-imposed charges may be added based on your shipping or billing address. Shipping, handling, and optional services (such as expedited delivery or installation) are additional unless we expressly state they are included. We may correct pricing errors; if we discover an error after you order, we will notify you and give you the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel.
5. Orders and payment
When you submit an order, you offer to purchase the items in your cart. We accept your offer only when we confirm shipment or otherwise send written order acceptance, as permitted by law. Payment is processed through third-party payment processors. You authorize us and our processors to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due. You agree to keep payment and account information current.
6. Shipping and delivery
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for physical products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier unless applicable law or our written agreement with you provides otherwise. You are responsible for providing a valid address and safe access for delivery. Large items such as storm doors may require freight or threshold delivery; curbside or appointment requirements will be communicated where relevant.
7. Installation
Where we offer professional installation, it may be limited to specific geographic areas (for example, parts of New Jersey, as described on our site). Installation scope, scheduling, site conditions, permits, and homeowner responsibilities will be described in your order, quote, or separate installation agreement. Unless we expressly include installation with your purchase, doors are sold for customer or contractor installation.
8. Returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Because storm doors are often sized or configured to order, return eligibility may be limited. Generally:
- Defective or damaged items: notify us promptly with photos; we will work with you on repair, replacement, or refund as required by law and consistent with manufacturer policies.
- Buyer’s remorse / non-defective returns: may be accepted only when we expressly offer a return window and the product is unused, in original packaging, and eligible for resale; restocking or return shipping fees may apply.
- Custom or special orders: are typically final sale once production or ordering with our supplier has begun.
Specific return windows and procedures will be posted on our site or provided at checkout and may be updated from time to time.
9. Manufacturer warranties
Many storm doors carry a limited warranty from the manufacturer, not from Pora Door, except where we expressly provide our own warranty in writing. Warranty terms, registration, and claims are governed by the manufacturer’s documentation supplied with the product or on the manufacturer’s website.
10. License and intellectual property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. All content on the Services (text, graphics, logos, images, software) is owned by Pora Door or our licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the Services except as allowed by law or with our prior written consent.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights.
- Interfere with the Services, introduce malware, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
- Use bots or automated means to place orders or harvest data without permission.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PORA DOOR AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD A PAYABLE TRANSACTION WITH US IN THAT PERIOD. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO THESE LIMITS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pora Door and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.
15. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that courts located in New Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have under federal or state consumer protection law to sue in your home jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may require additional notice where required by law.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
